Gwabi River Lodge has an incredible history and was one of the first to establish and offer lodgings in the Lower Zambezi Valley. Situated along the tranquil banks of the Kafue River, a mere 6kms from the Mighty Zambezi River, Gwabi River Lodge has long been known as the Zambian lodge with a direct gateway to the Lower Zambezi.
We have a range of accommodation options to suit every traveller and budget. We hope to provide you with all the amenities needed to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Superior Chalets : Bed & Breakfast, 2 pax / 4 pax family room. We have 7 Superior Chalets on offer – 5 with a scenic river view and 2 family room set in the garden overlooking a beautiful array of trees. With a light and airy feel, these chalets are well furnished with comfortable beds, air conditioning and a complimentary tea and coffee tray. They are all en-suite with large walk in showers that complete the smart new look.
Standard Chalets : Bed & Breakfast, 2 pax. We have 2 standard twin chalets which are situated in the lush garden area and cater for 2 people comfortably. These chalets are well furnished with comfortable beds, air conditioning and a complimentary tea and coffee tray. All chalets are en-suite with walk-in showers.
Campsite Chalets : Room Only, 4 pax. We have 2 Campsite Chalets which are situated above the camping grounds and cater for up to 4 people, with two single beds and a bunk bed, ideal for families or sharing with friends. The chalets are simply furnished with air conditioners, complimentary tea and coffee tray, en-suite bathroom and braai pit.
